layed behind a stone.
You lived to die,
Rejected and alone.
Like a rose,
trampled on the ground.
You took the fall,
And thought of me,
I love this song.
God is oh so cool.
I always seem to forget that the end is comming, and that we're loosing time. We don't have any time to waste. And here I am, dragging my feet. I'm really tired and I don't know how to say what I want to say. I'm tired, and kinda frustrated. God give me some words please.
I don't know exactly how to describe what I'm feeling, but.......ok...When you go to a Bible study, you go to study the Bible. Fellowship, yes. Getting totally distracted, and focusing on anything but the Bible for a good chunk of time is not ok. I'm not saying I've never done it. I've done it lots of times. but we need to stop cause it's getting really bad. Sure it's fun, but it's not what we're there for, atleast it's not what we're supposed to be there for. We're supposed to be there for the Bible and God. When God's trying to talk to you, and you look over and say, "Ooh! Look! A wall!" or something to that extent, how does that make God feel, when He's trying to tell you something really important? Something like...How much He loves you, and misses you when you shut Him out. or something to that effect.
When you know you're doing something that's wrong, and you know what's right...fix it. You can. If you need help (which is fine), ask. No it's not always easy, no one said it was going to be. We are promised trials and tribulations and persecutions and all that fun stuff. We aren't promised an easy ride. We aren't promised tomorrow either. But we are promised that our God will never leave us nor forsake us. He won't leave an unfinished work unfinished (that means you) We know His burden is light and His yolk is easy. He is gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls when you are in His care. He says, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matt. 11:28) I love that verse. Especially when nothing goes right and I feel so worn that just the thought of tomorrow seems too much to bear. I also like 2 Tim 2:11-13. God will never leave us. Or be unfaithful, even if we are. He loves us that much. No matter how many times we slap Him in the face, call Him a liar when we don't trust Him, no matter what, He's faithful. Nothing could make Him love you less, and nothing come make Him love you more. His love is constant and true, never changing and boundless.
Yeah. God's just cool like that.
Getting off my soap box, and going to sleep. remembering that i am preaching to myself too. :) still got lots of stuff for me.
